My name is Sofía, with an accent on the i.

I can spend hours walking a city without the notion of time passing by. In fancy words - and I am fancy - I'm a curious flâneur. I learn from cities, cultures, and people with a fork and a knife, and I've eaten my way through five principal cities: Medellín, Bogotá, Caracas, Barcelona, and currently - Miami. After every new town, I'll call my twin sister to tell her my favorite plate.

Born in a city with a history of conflict, I grew up in the scenery of a changing environment: culture, empowerment, and hard work. Searching for a way to capture life, I studied photography for three years while I was still in high school. Looking for a challenge and a new perspective, I moved to Bogotá and studied at Universidad de los Andes. With no sleep, I graduated Magna Cum Laude in Design with an emphasis in Communication. And seeking to sleep no more, I enrolled in a Strategic Planning Bootcamp, and I'm pursuing my Master's in Graphic Design.

As a strategist & designer, I get to look beyond; I profoundly dive into the diverse cultures and perspectives of the world; I get to connect with the various expressions of life and people to find the most uncommon and truthful narratives that spark a particular emotion, inspiring us to connect and create meaningful experiences. As a strategist & designer, I get to be my most authentic self.

When I'm not studying, planning, or designing, I'm curating over a thousand places to find the most authentic restaurant to dine at next week. After dining, you will find me looking for the unknown story because, in other fancy words, I'm a narrative lover.

With a heart for design, a mind for strategy, and an eye for aesthetics, I believe in creating meaning with purpose.
